About Me

Hello, I’m Jacqueline, the founder of Architect of Life Counselling.

I’m a counsellor who believes that every life carries a divine blueprint, one that sometimes gets buried under the weight of expectations, transitions, or pain. My passion is to walk with people as they rediscover that design and rebuild their lives with renewed hope, purpose, and clarity.

My Journey

My journey toward counselling began long before my formal studies — through lived experience. Migrating from Singapore to Australia with my family was a season that reshaped my understanding of identity, belonging, and resilience. Balancing motherhood, caring for a child with an intellectual disability, and supporting two younger daughters has taught me what strength, vulnerability, and grace can look like in real life.

In those moments of challenge and growth, I experienced firsthand how emotional healing, faith, and professional support can come together to bring restoration. That awareness inspired me to become a counsellor — to help others find their own pathways to wholeness.

My Approach

In counselling, I believe in meeting people where they are — with empathy, respect, and authenticity. My approach integrates both evidence-based models and faith-informed perspectives, depending on each client’s needs and comfort. I draw from approaches such as Person-Centred Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy, emphasising clarity, connection, and personal growth.

I see myself not as the architect of anyone’s life, but as a fellow traveller — someone who holds space for you to explore your story, uncover patterns, and rediscover the blueprint that leads you toward emotional and spiritual restoration.

A Little About Me

Outside of counselling, I enjoy life’s simple joys — meals with my family, meaningful conversations, and the beauty of travel and connecting with nature. I believe life is best lived with purpose, laughter, and a touch of adventure.
